Who is Eida?

One of Amado's creations, Eida possesses clairvoyance over all events and an involuntary charm that makes nearly everyone adore her - a gift that leaves her utterly isolated. Craving genuine love rather than compulsion, she fixates on Kawaki and later Boruto. Her power Omnipotence rewrites the world's memories, swapping the two brothers' places and casting Boruto out as a fugitive, reframing the entire narrative.

Appearance

Eida looks like a girl of sixteen, slender and deliberately striking. She has long, pale hair that falls well past her waist and crimson eyes with an unusual patterned iris. Her wardrobe is dark and dramatic: a black outfit with an open neckline, gold ornamentation and a high-collared cape that sweeps behind her as she moves. Set into her upper chest is a third eye, the physical seat of her clairvoyance, which she normally keeps hidden beneath a clasp. Nothing about her body betrays its artificial construction, and she carries herself with a poised, almost theatrical confidence.

Personality

Eida is worldly, blunt and thoroughly bored. Having spent years able to watch anything and anyone, she has few illusions left about people and speaks to shinobi leaders as casual equals rather than captives. She is dramatic, teasing and quick to needle anyone who takes themselves too seriously, but underneath the performance is genuine loneliness: her charm means she can never know whether affection directed at her is real. That is precisely why she fixates so hard on Kawaki, the one person unmoved by her. Fiercely protective of her younger brother, she negotiates hard on his behalf, and her ultimate wish is small and human, an ordinary adolescence with friends she did not have to enchant.

Background

Eida and her younger brother Daemon were remade by Amado, the scientist behind Kara's most advanced work, using powers extracted from the Otsutsuki Shibai. The process left her with a cybernetic body that no longer ages and two abilities she never asked for: an eye that sees everything happening now or in the past, and an aura that forces anyone who perceives her to adore her. Because of the second, she grew up unable to trust a single kind word. Registered as an Inner of Kara but never sent on field operations, she lived in seclusion in a remote mansion, watching the world through her clairvoyance and reporting only what she felt like reporting, a spy who considered the organisation beneath her interest.

Role in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

  1. Kara Remnants and Amado's Defection

Amado's surrender to Konoha brings Eida's existence to light. He warns the Leaf leadership that a girl exists who has watched every secret they have ever kept and whose charm can turn allies into worshippers, making her simultaneously the most valuable intelligence source alive and the most dangerous person to let Code reach first.

  2. Code's Recruitment Attempt

Code travels to her secluded residence expecting to draft a useful subordinate. Instead he is instantly enthralled, and Eida makes clear that she has no interest in Isshiki's plan, the chakra fruit or revenge. She agrees to lend her eyes only in exchange for something she actually wants, setting her own price for cooperation.

  3. Obsession with Kawaki

Through her clairvoyance Eida becomes fascinated by Kawaki, who, as an Otsutsuki-altered being, feels nothing when he looks at her. Certain she has finally found someone whose feelings could be genuine, she demands he be brought to her, turning Code's campaign against the Hidden Leaf into an errand driven by her infatuation.

  4. Negotiations with the Hidden Leaf

Amado argues that the surest way to neutralise Code is to give Eida what she wants, and negotiations open to bring her and Daemon to Konoha. Eida bargains shrewdly, protecting her brother's interests and asking for something no one expects from a Kara Inner: the chance to live like an ordinary girl.

Abilities and techniques

Senrigan (clairvoyance)

Her third eye lets her observe any event occurring anywhere in the present, and to look back through the past at will. It makes her the most complete intelligence source in the world, though it cannot show her the future, a blind spot she resents.

Charm

Anyone who perceives Eida falls in love with her regardless of gender or intent, and becomes unable to harm her. Blood relatives and Otsutsuki-altered beings are the known exceptions, which is why Daemon and Kawaki are immune while hardened killers like Code are not.

Cybernetic body

Amado rebuilt her using scientific ninja tool technology, halting her ageing and sustaining the organs that house her powers. Her body appears entirely human and gives no outward sign of its construction, but it depends on maintenance only Amado fully understands.

Otsutsuki-derived power

Both of her gifts were extracted from the legacy of Shibai Otsutsuki, placing them outside the normal chakra system. They cannot be countered by ordinary ninjutsu, sealed by conventional means or resisted through willpower alone.

Limited combat capability

Eida is not a fighter and never trained as one. Her defence is entirely passive, relying on the fact that almost no one can bring themselves to attack her, with Daemon's reflective power covering the opponents her charm cannot reach.

Relationships

Daemon
Younger brother
The one person immune to her charm by blood, and therefore the only relationship she trusts completely. She dotes on him, scolds him and negotiates hard to keep him safe, while he acts as her bodyguard against anyone her aura cannot stop.
Amado
Creator and reluctant guardian
He built her body and gave her the powers that isolated her, a debt she repays with sarcasm rather than gratitude. He understands her better than anyone and is willing to use her desires as leverage in his plans against Code.
Kawaki
Object of her one-sided love
Because his altered body leaves him indifferent to her charm, Eida decides he is the only person whose feelings toward her could ever be honest. Her pursuit of him reshapes the balance of power between Kara's remnants and Konoha.
Code
Enthralled ally
He came to recruit her and left as her admirer, unable to threaten or deceive her. She treats him with casual disdain, exploiting his devotion to extract what she wants while giving as little assistance to his ambitions as possible.

Notable moments

  • Amado reveals to Konoha's leadership that a girl exists who has already watched every secret the village possesses.
  • She reduces Code, the last Inner of Kara, to a compliant admirer the moment he lays eyes on her.
  • She names Kawaki as the price for her cooperation, redirecting an entire war effort toward a personal whim.
  • She negotiates with the Hidden Leaf for herself and her brother, asking for a normal life rather than power.

Trivia

  • Her name is rendered as Ada in the official English release of the manga.
  • Her clairvoyance covers the present and the past but is entirely blind to the future.
  • Her charm affects anyone who perceives her regardless of gender, sparing only blood relatives and Otsutsuki-altered beings.
  • She and Daemon owe their powers to Amado's research into the legacy of Shibai Otsutsuki.
  • Despite ranking as an Inner of Kara, she was never used in field operations and regarded the organisation with open boredom.
