Polite, soft spoken and unfailingly courteous, Mimosa carries herself with the manners of a royal house without any of its arrogance. She is easily flustered, especially around Asta, and tends to apologise for things that are not her fault. Beneath the timidity is real steel: she volunteers for dangerous missions, keeps casting while exhausted, and refuses to abandon wounded people even when retreat is sensible. She dislikes the way her relatives measure worth by bloodline and quietly champions commoners instead. Her optimism is analytical rather than naive, since her reconnaissance magic constantly tells her exactly how bad a situation is and she chooses to encourage her team anyway.

Mimosa was born into House Vermillion, one of the Clover Kingdom's royal families, as the daughter of the house and the younger sister of the flamboyant Kirsch. She is also a cousin to Noelle Silva through the kingdom's intertwined royal lines. Raised with every privilege, she was expected to reflect her family's prestige, and her brother in particular drilled her in the belief that royals stand above commoners. Her rare plant magic manifested with unusual strength in both healing and detection, and she received a grimoire on schedule. Rather than trade on her name, she entered the Magic Knights entrance exam like any applicant and was accepted into the elite Golden Dawn, where she served alongside Yuno and Klaus Lunettes.

   When elf souls possess mages across the kingdom, the Golden Dawn is hit hardest and her brother Kirsch is taken over. Mimosa works as a mobile field hospital, restoring badly wounded knights faster than the enemy can cut them down and mapping enemy positions for the counterattack.

5. Spade Kingdom Threat

   As the Dark Triad's power becomes clear and Yami is abducted, Mimosa trains to strengthen her support magic and joins the mustering forces, her detection and healing marked as essential for any operation crossing into enemy territory.
